To be honest, at first I wondered if it might be a little pricey, but in the end, I’m so glad I went ahead with it! Our guide, Mr. Li, gave us detailed and entertaining explanations about Taiwan’s history and the various sites, which was a great learning experience for the kids. If we’d gone on our own, I think we would’ve just casually looked around and called it a day—and that alone would’ve been more than enough to satisfy us—but he also recommended lots of great shops, and he even took us to Jiufen, so we were truly, truly, truly satisfied. It happened to be a busy holiday period, but our driver, Mr. Zhang, planned the absolute best route and drove us around, so we were able to tour the best parts of Taiwan in a single day—stress-free and efficiently. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the city the next day. Thank you so much!

We were able to efficiently visit many tourist attractions that we couldn’t have covered on our own in a single day, and we were very satisfied. Our tour guide, Mr. Wang, spoke Japanese very well; he was friendly and incredibly attentive, and I was really glad we’d chosen him as our guide.

This tour allowed us to efficiently visit famous tourist spots in and around Taipei, and everyone was thoroughly satisfied. Since there were only six of us, we had the car all to ourselves and were able to enjoy the tour without worrying about other passengers. For lunch at Din Tai Fung, we had informed KKday in advance that one participant had a food allergy. On the day of the tour, both the guide and the restaurant staff handled the situation perfectly, allowing that person to enjoy their meal without any concerns about their allergy. We were also able to experience the lantern release in Shifen and a stroll through Jiufen under clear skies, creating wonderful memories for everyone. Even after the tour ended at Raohe Street Night Market, our guide kindly took us to a shop where I wanted to buy something, and I’m very grateful for that.

In the morning, they picked us up at our hotel, and we were able to get around to each location very smoothly—it was a truly fulfilling day. In Jiufen, thanks to our guide, Mr. Hayashi, we were able to get into a tea house we had already given up on without having to wait, which made for a wonderful memory. On the way back, they took us to a massage parlor where they spoke Japanese and even arranged a taxi for our return trip. It might have been a bit more expensive than going on our own, but we were completely satisfied because we were able to sightsee safely and stress-free. Thank you very much, Mr. Hayashi and the driver.

First of all, even though there were only three of us, we were comfortable in the 8-passenger van. Our guide, Mr. Wang, was very thoughtful and made sure everything went smoothly. I’ve been to Taipei many times myself, but the local anecdotes he shared were both informative and entertaining. It would have been difficult to visit Jiufen, Shifen, and the National Palace Museum on our own, so taking my elderly parents on this tour was definitely the right choice. The only downside was that the lanterns were all a single color. However, being able to time our stop to coincide with the train’s arrival was a wonderful experience. I was also very satisfied with Jiufen, where Mr. Wang recommended various local culinary delights. I’d love to book a tour to a different area next time.

We highly recommend this tour for first-time visitors to Taiwan or anyone who wants to efficiently explore famous tourist spots—including Jiufen and Shifen—in a single day. Below, we’ll highlight what we liked best about the tour. The guide was very courteous and put us at ease! Our guide, who was fluent in Japanese, gave clear and easy-to-understand explanations about Taiwanese culture, history, and each sightseeing spot, all while adding a touch of humor. At Longshan Temple, they carefully taught us the proper etiquette for worship, and at the National Palace Museum, we were able to tour the exhibits with clear commentary on the most representative pieces. In Jiufen and Shifen, the guide also helped us make reservations at tea houses and provided recommendations for shops and local cuisine, making for a much more fulfilling experience than traveling on our own. I was actually surprised at just how much having a guide made a difference in our satisfaction! Smooth Entry to Din Tai Fung & a Satisfying Set Meal! We were able to enter the popular Din Tai Fung smoothly without any wait, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the set meal we were served! I’m a grown man with a hearty appetite, and I had absolutely no complaints about either the quantity or the quality (the portions were quite generous). You can also enjoy a variety of xiaolongbao and savor the authentic flavors. The time allotted at each stop was just right! At the National Palace Museum, we toured the most iconic exhibits with a guide, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience even within a limited timeframe. Since there are so many exhibits, the free time felt a bit short, but I was satisfied because we were able to efficiently see the famous pieces. I don’t think I could have covered this much on my own without the tour, and since they also provided tips on what to watch out for when sightseeing in Taiwan, I found it to be a very fulfilling tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the sights efficiently or learn about the background of the attractions.

Thanks to our guide, Lei Lei, the sightseeing was truly wonderful. 🩷 She gave us detailed explanations at Longshan Temple and the National Palace Museum, which really helped me understand everything. In Jiufen, I was so grateful that she pointed out great deals and delicious restaurants! ‼️ We were blessed with great weather, too—it was the best day ever. 👌 I’d love to join this tour again if I get the chance.

I’ve never been on a tour that took me to so many different places before, so this was a huge help. Above all, Mr. Zhang, who served as our guide that day, had an incredible wealth of knowledge, language skills, and vocabulary, and he provided detailed explanations—including the historical background—at each sightseeing spot. Although I’d visited the National Palace Museum several times before, I was truly impressed by how much my understanding of the exhibits changed simply by having a guide explain them to me. We were able to get into Din Tai Fung—which usually has incredibly long wait times—relatively smoothly, and I was finally able to enjoy an authentic Din Tai Fung experience. The portion sizes were also just right for Japanese appetites. During the sky lantern release in Shifen, we handed one of our cell phones to a local staff member, who took plenty of photos and videos for us—everyone was thrilled. I think this is a well-rounded tour that anyone—whether visiting Taiwan for the first time or not—can thoroughly enjoy. I think this price is a great value for what we got. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us this time.

On February 2, our family was taken care of all day by our guide, Mr. Ou, and our driver, Mr. Kou. The ride was incredibly comfortable, they waited for us right on time without making us walk unnecessarily, and thanks to Mr. Kou’s safe driving, we were able to travel with peace of mind all day. Mr. Ou speaks fluent Japanese and is full of mischief and cheerfulness—there was nonstop laughter throughout the tour. He even adjusted the order of our stops based on the situation and was a truly kind and thoughtful professional! Since this was our first time in Taiwan, the time we spent hearing about local culture was incredibly valuable, and he taught us so many things we never would have discovered on our own. The tour itinerary efficiently covers the best of Taipei in just one day, so I highly recommend it, especially for first-time visitors to Taiwan‼︎ Plus, we were able to build a deeper connection with our local guide, making it a truly valuable experience! I’m so grateful to have met Ou-san. It was excellent value for money, and I’m really glad I joined the tour!! My family was completely satisfied too, so we’ll definitely come back to see Ou-san next time♪ The secret phrase is “Dragon Gate”♪ Thank you for such a fulfilling experience♪

I booked this tour for a trip with just my mother and me. Our guide, Minmin, was cheerful and very kind, and she really made our trip special. She gave us detailed explanations of the sights and taught us a lot about Taiwan—it was a lot of fun. She gave us detailed advice on everything from the cold weather and rain to Taiwanese temple etiquette, explanations of the exhibits at the National Palace Museum, and the best way to enjoy xiaolongbao—it truly made for a wonderful trip. Since she drove us to and from the sightseeing spots, my mother didn’t get physically tired and seemed to enjoy herself the whole time, so I’m really glad we booked her services. The next time I visit Taiwan with family or friends, I definitely want to book Minmin again.

I took part in the tour with my two young children, and I’m so grateful to the guide and driver for taking such good care of us. Thank you so much. Also, since you can visit quite a few tourist spots—including Shifen and Jiufen—in just one day from downtown Taipei, it’s a very efficient way to see the sights.

We were able to visit all the must-see spots smoothly. The food was delicious, too. It was great that we left at 11:00 a.m., since it gave us time to do other things in the morning. I felt it would have been absolutely impossible to manage this tour on my own. There were no unnecessary extras, and our guide, Mr. Hayashi, was very clear and easy to understand—he was a great guy.
